New Year, New Leadership in Palo Alto

Monday, January 4 marked a new City Council in Palo Alto. As is customary per City Charter, the new year brought new Council leadership at the first City Council meeting of the year. Also on Monday, Vice Mayor Tom DuBois was chosen to serve as mayor in 2021 and newly elected and sworn in Council Member Pat Burt to serve as vice mayor.

Greer Stone, Greg Tanaka, and Lydia Kou were also sworn in after winning their elections in November. Their terms end on December 31, 2024.

Also, on the City Council are Council Members Alison Cormack and Eric Filseth.
