City Manager Ed Shikada shares brief updates at each Council meeting, highlighting details about upcoming events, City services, and City Council discussions planned. Updates included a Message from the Mayor on the importance of community and connection, teen mental health resources such as a free drop-in art therapy session for teens, Friday night Teen Center hours, and allcove drop-in grief and loss support sessions for youth and guardians. Mental Health First Aid trainings are also available beginning March 9. Other updates include upcoming engagement with Caltrans on their 9-mile rehabilitation/paving project on El Camino Real and opportunities to connect on the Creek/Stream Corridor Protection Ordinance Update. Notable tentative upcoming Council items and Council Actions taken at the meeting were also shared.
