The County of Santa Clara Vector Control District will be conducting adult mosquito control treatment on Thursday, September 14 starting at 10 p.m. in areas of South Palo Alto and Mountain View with Zip Codes 94301, 94303, 94304, and 94306. The treatment will take approximately 2-4 hours and will use truck-mounted equipment to help reduce the mosquito population in the area and the risk of West Nile virus.

Residents within the treatment areas will be notified by Santa Clara County via postcard, AlertSCC, and notification emails to registered voters. Affected areas include Crescent Park, Old Palo Alto, University South, Duveneck/ St. Francis, Palo Verde, Charleston Gardens, Palo Alto Foothills, Greater Miranda, Barron Park, and Greenmeadow.
