As a reminder, the 2024 Palo Alto Community Survey is currently underway. The survey is initially sent via mail to a sample of Palo Alto households that are a statistically valid and subsequently available to all residents online. The survey is one way among many through which we gain insights from residents throughout our community. Please take the survey if you receive it in the mail. If you were selected to participate in the random sampling group, you should have received a postcard invitation in the mail, followed by a welcome letter and paper survey.

The annual Community Survey has two parts.

  • First, a survey is sent via mail to a random sample of households. The survey can be taken either by mail or online.
  • Next the survey opens up to all residents online. The survey opened citywide on September 16, and the community can access it here

NEW! Survey deadline extended to October 21.

The survey deadline has been extended by two weeks. The new deadline to complete the survey in either format is October 21, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. As a reminder, if you received a postcard invitation, followed by a welcome letter and paper survey, please share your thoughts through your unique link specifically created for your household.
