Free Community Workshop: Natural Dye Workshop with artist Jaya Griscom

We will meet in Studio U4 at Cubberley to go through Cubberley Artist in Residence Jaya Griscom's natural dye process. You will see all the stages of naturally extracting pigments from plants grown in her garden and binding them to yarn and fabric. There will be lots of time for questions and peering into dye pots. Each participant will get a dyed sample to take home and instructions will be available, in case you're inspired to dye on your own! Space is limited, so sign ups are necessary.
