Volunteer

 

The Palo Alto Police Department needs your help to partner with us to help keep Palo Alto as safe as it can possibly be. While we no longer have a formal volunteer program within the Police Department due to staffing and budget reductions, we strongly urge that civic-minded residents consider becoming part of the Office of Emergency Service's Emergency Services Volunteers (ESV) program.

The ESV program provides supplemental resources to the professional first responders who work for the three Palo Alto public safety departments.  ESVs facilitate means for neighbors to help neighbors, and promote preparedness efforts before a disaster to make our neighborhoods more resilient.
