Code Enforcement

The Code Enforcement Division of the Department of Planning & Development Services is responsible for enforcement of property maintenance, zoning, and building codes throughout Palo Alto. Many departments throughout the City are also responsible for enforcing other City codes.

Emergencies & Public Nuisance Complaints

In the case of an emergency, please call 911 for immediate assistance. Please call the Palo Alto Police Non-Emergency Line at (650) 329-2413 for all public nuisance complaints.
