Peers Park Field House

Nestled among the grounds of Alexander Peers Park, The Peers Park Field House can be rented by Palo Alto residents for birthday parties and picnics. The 17 by 25 feet field house overlooks a 4.7 acre park with tennis courts, picnic tables, and two (2) children's play structures.

Peers Park Field House is available for a flat use day rate. Hours of usage for the Field House are 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., weekends only. Custodians are not on-site during events and come after to clean. Renter is responsible for removing their trash. We charge for 1 hour of custodial time; however, if more custodial time is needed, additional charges may be applied.

Amenities

Fourteen (14) child size chairs and three (3) child size tables are provided. The City of Palo Alto does not provide extra equipment.
Please note that access to this facility does not grant exclusive use of the picnic tables located at the park. Picnic tables can only be reserved at Mitchell Park and Rinconada Park.

Reservation Process

Availability of dates can be provided by phone or in person, but no date will be held until an application is submitted.
A refundable, $100 cleaning deposit will be charged in addition to the hourly rates. All renters are responsible for cleaning up after their parties.
All rentals are charged a one (1) hour custodial fee as our facility crew comes out to deep clean the space at the end of all events to prepare the facility for the incoming weekday preschool class. The facility staff will NOT be on site during your event.

You can email your completed application to lscc@cityofpaloalto.org or submit it in person to the Lucie Stern Community Center.
Once we receive and approve your application, you will receive a confirmation permit. Payments will be processed immediately upon application approval.
Keys to the facility may be picked up at the Lucie Stern Community Center the Thursday prior to your event. The keys are NOT available to be picked up on weekends. Please note no refunds are provided for forgotten key pick-ups. Your deposit will be kept if the keys are not returned by the end of business day (5:30pm) Tuesday following your event.
