Tamara Murphy

About the artist

Tamara Murphy is a mixed media artist. Inspired by the effects of fire and agriculture on her local landscapes, her work examines changing relationships with concepts of home amidst dramatic environmental shifts. Her film photography is featured on Vogue Italia’s online photography archive, and she received the Jack Windsor Ink and Clay Award in 2021. She will graduate in 2022 with a BFA in Ceramics from Chico State University.
