About the artists:

Aziz + Cucher’s series of tapestries highlights the historic and political significance of tapestries during medieval times and the Renaissance. They have been a collaborative team since meeting as graduate students at the San Francisco Art Institute and are now members of the Fine Arts faculty at Parsons School of Design (New York). The team is based in Brooklyn, where their interdisciplinary art practice has included digital photography and animation, video, textiles, screen-printing and sculpture.

Aziz + Cucher collaborated with Oakland-based Magnolia Editions to produce The Road, employing a new computerized method that captures tiny details of the artists' design.
