About the artist:

Aubrey Longley-Cook’s artistic practice blends his affinity for pop culture with humor and subversion. A queer artist, Longley-Cook explores the duality of masculinity and femininity and celebrates the vibrancy of drag and pop culture while challenging the expectations of embroidery as an art form.

Longley-Cook received his BFA from Rhode Island School of Design. He works and lives in Los Angeles, CA.
