Jessi Rado is a growth counselor, yoga teacher and integrative artist. She has funneled her teaching into many places, including HIV mental health clinics, yoga and meditation classes. In 2015 she paired up with Caledonia Curry (Swoon) and Mural Arts Philadelphia to help those struggling from substance abuse.
As part of these workshops, Rado wrote and illustrated her first zine: Everyday Healing Part 1, full of images and words to help everyone take a breath, reset, and move toward mindfulness. This was followed by Everyday Healing Part 2: Working with Trauma, an easily accessible starter toolkit to people of all ages.
Both zines can be downloaded for free at: www.heliotropefoundation.org/everyday-healing.
