John Contreras

John is the Program Assistant II for the City of Palo Alto Art Center. He received his M.F.A. in Spatial Art from San José State University, and his B.A. in Art at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Prior to working at the Art Center, he was a Professor of 3-D Concepts at SJSU, an Art Therapist working with the incarcerated, a Security Professional II, an Office Clerk/Recreation Leader for the City of Menlo Park and a Veteran of United State Marine Corps. When he is not at work, he's taking care of his mom, making sculptures, reading or working out.
