Status of Audit Recommendations

The Auditor’s Office reviews the status of recently adopted and open audit recommendations on an annual basis. The City Auditor meets with department staff to discuss the status of open recommendations, and obtains documentation and performs tests as necessary. The annual recommendation status report lists those recommendations that have been implemented or resolved since the last status report, those recommendations that should be modified or dropped, and provides an agreed course of action to implement remaining recommendations.
