Ensuring Essential City Services During Coronavirus

Palo Alto City Manager, Ed Shikada, updated the Council on both Monday, April 6 and April 13 about what the City is doing to ensure essential services continue during this COVID-19 public health emergency.

His updates included ways the City is supporting local businesses, creating a forum for our non-profit and community-based organization partners to receive donations and other support, and connect our community with their resources.

Details on preliminary budget impacts were also shared. If you missed the remote City Council meeting on April 6, read his #PaloAltoConnect blog here.

Details on the April 13 meeting can likewise be found in his blog here, including a summary of the staff presentation and more on the Council actions.
