Palo Alto Transit Center Pathway Project to Begin

Construction for the Palo Alto Transit Center Bicycle and Pedestrian Pathway Connection Project is scheduled to begin on Monday, Feb. 6. During the project, bicyclists and pedestrians will temporarily redirected to an alternate pathway. The contractor work will mostly be in the existing pathway, in addition to the curb ramp at the intersection of Quarry Road and El Camino Real.

Improvements to the pedestrian and bicycle connection will include sidewalk replacement, and a two-way lighted, multi-use pathway. Attractive, drought-tolerant landscaping will also be added to the green space/park areas. The project should be completed by July.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact Project Manager, Shahla Yazdy at or call 650-617-3151.
