San Francisquito Creek Trails Reopen
The San Francisquito Creek trails are open once again while levee vegetation work is temporarily suspended. The trails have been intermittently closed for safety reasons while heavy equipment is used for the work.
During closure periods, the following area is closed Monday-Friday, from 7 a.m.- 5 p.m., and reopens on Friday evenings through Sunday:
• On the Palo Alto side, the Bay Trail San Francisquito Creek levee trail will be closed from E. Bayshore Road to Friendship Bridge
• On the East Palo Alto side, all levee trails will remain open. No closures are expected.
Friendship Bridge is currently expected to remain open. However, the bridge may be closed while work is conducted in that area. Closure updates can be found by clicking here.
The work began on September 22 and is expected to last four weeks.
