Palo Alto Ceremony to Recognize Emergency Preparedness Volunteers
The Palo Alto Office of Emergency Services (OES) will host its fifth annual awards ceremony to recognize outstanding community volunteers for their work on emergency preparedness. The public is invited to the ceremony on Friday, January 24, that will begin with a reception catered by Ada's Café starting at 6 p.m. The event will be held in the City Council chambers.
Mayor Nancy Shepherd will host the event joined by Kenneth Dueker, director of Office of Emergency Services, and the program will also include a keynote speech by City Chief Information Officer Jonathan Reichental.
