Civic Engagement for the Common Good was one of the three top priorities for the Palo Alto City Council for both 2008 and 2009. To highlight this priority, the Human Relations Commission wants to recognize and honor exceptional individual and community partners who demonstrate a sense of caring and responsibility for others that work to address community challenges.
