About SunShares

For the third year in a row, the City of Palo Alto participated in Bay Area SunShares, a solar group-buy program administered by Building Council for Climate Change (BC3).

This year more than 50 Bay Area cities and major employers participated as outreach partners. As of November 30, 2017 Palo Alto had the highest number of signed solar contracts.  Final numbers for PV capacity installed through the SunShares program will be available by the end of January 2018.

A SunShares workshop was held in Palo Alto on Saturday, September 23, 2017. A PDF version of the slide deck that was presented at the workshop can be found here
