Utilities Engineering is responsible for implementing the capital improvement plans for the city’s electric, water, gas, and wastewater distribution systems and provides assistance to the operating departments.

Utilities Operations are responsible for maintenance, repair, replacement and service installation for the electric, water, gas and wastewater (sewer) distribution systems.

- Electric, water, gas and wastewater service interruptions.
- Street light and traffic signal outages.
- Fiber optic outages.
All Utilities projects within the City's public right of way (including gas services up to and encompassing the gas meter) shall conform to the Water, Gas & Wastewater Standards and Electrical Requirements contained in these web pages and the Public Works Standards unless otherwise approved in writing by the responsible Engineering Manager. Private utilities on private property are under the jurisdiction of the City's Planning and Building Department.
