During wildland fire season, the weather is extremely important to firefighters. The temperature, wind direction and speed, relative humidity and fuel moisture levels help us determine the critical nature of our surroundings and will often dictate how we respond to any report of a wildland fire. The temperature alone can often be deceiving as cool mornings don't always eliminate critical fire weather conditions. You can check out the weather too and see what the information indicates.
