The City of Palo Alto Recreation Division offers programs that enhance and contribute to the social, educational and personal well-being of every individual in our community.

Programs are offered for all ages, from preschoolers to seniors. You can find Exploration and Music classes for your little ones, Athletic and Academic classes for your kids and teens, and all types of Dance (Tango, Line Dancing, and Ballroom), Music (Sing the Best of Broadway) and Fitness classes (Aerobics, Pilates, Barre, Yoga, Zumba) for you. Additional unique programs are offered: Passport to Retirement, Pickleball, Lawn Bowling, Taiko Drumming and so much more!
Our Programs are offered all year round and catalogs are distributed five times a year (with the four seasons plus an additional summer camp session). Classes are scheduled in 4 - 12 weeks sessions with an additional BOOST! program for drop-in exercise.
Boost! – Adult Fitness
Our Adult Fitness Program BOOST! just keeps getting better and better. We have recently added a few new classes, come check out Cardio Dance and Belly Dancing on Tuesdays and Bolly X on Thursday. Please check the schedule below for times and locations. Purchased Passes can be used at any of the listed workouts on the calendar. Purchase a book of 10 passes and get a discount that works out to $7.50 per class ($6.50 for seniors and students). Boost offers great workouts and plenty of variety and an amazing price.
