Make your own edible jewelry, sing silly songs at the top of your lungs, learn how to swim with new friends at the local pool...this is what summer is all about! Campers will engage in age appropriate activities that revolve around interesting themes and include engaging outdoor games, swim lessons at Rinconada pool (every Tuesday and Thursday), creative arts and crafts projects, exciting mini field trips, and more. Celebrating 55 years of creating lifelong friends, long lasting memories, and a deep respect and love of nature, Foothills Day Camp is back for another incredible summer in the great outdoors. Campers will participate in weekly activities that revolve around interesting themes and include engaging outdoor games, exciting hikes, hands-on activities with wildlife, canoeing in Boronda lake, and more. NEW in 2013: Each session includes pre and post camp, which means you can drop your child off anytime between 7:30am-8:45am, and pick your child up anytime between 4-6pm. Additionally, campers will spend the second Thursday sleeping under a blanket of stars at Camp Towle for the ultimate "campout" experience. Night activities include a delicious BBQ, animated storytelling by our seasoned camp staff, a thrilling night hike, and memories for a lifetime, all for less than $5/hour! Campers should be dropped off by 8:45am at the Girl Scout House for the bus ride to Foothills Park daily. What will you discover?
