Emergency Volunteers
Become an Emergency Services Volunteer
Palo Alto's Office of Emergency Services manages the city's Emergency Services Volunteer (ESV) program. Our ESVs are Palo Alto community members who want to make our city more prepared for the range of risks we face. This is a vibrant and dynamic neighborhoods-based volunteer program that is directly connected to the city's emergency management organization. Whatever your interest, we can find a role for you. If you want to learn more, read about our mission and volunteer teams, watch a short video, and review other online resources below.
