What is a Geoexchange Heat Pump?
- A geoexchange heat pump is a system that uses the stored energy in the earth to provide heating, cooling and hot water to homes and commercial buildings.
- Through a series of closed loop water pipes descending approximately 300 feet into the ground circulating water collects heat from the ground in the winter for heating. In the summer the system reverses itself and pulls heat from the building and transfers it into the ground.
