Development Reports

The Department of Planning and Community Environment publishes several reports on development in the city:

New Planning Applications: Lists proposed construction projects throughout the City that require Planning approval. Typically, the City requires Planning approval for projects that will change a building's exterior or landscaping. Some types of businesses (such as auto service stations) may also require Planning approval. Single-story home construction is normally exempt from Planning approval, and will not appear on this list. Two-story homes and second-story additions will.

Demolition Permits: Permits to demolish a building.  Reported weekly.

New Permits over $250,000: A listing of major building permits issued, those over $250,000 valuation.  Reported monthly.
