NOTE: Effective 07/01/04 on all construction projects there will be a non-refundable fee charged for plans and specifications in the amount of $26 for projects estimated to cost up to $100,000 and $52 for projects estimated to cost beyond that amount. Cash, or business, cashier's, or personal check, or credit cards will be accepted as payment (currently only Visa and MasterCard are accepted). IFB 134408 -Temporary Library Improvements Project The work to be perfomed, in general, consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and transportation required to perform the Temporary Library Improvements Project. Work under contract includes, but not limited to, interior renovations of an existing building on a former high school campus known as the ‘Cubberley Community Center’ to temporarily house the Mitchell Park Library while their new building is under construction. Minor renovation work is planned for the interior, consisting of new flooring, interior non-load bearing walls, carpet tiles, sealed concrete floors, ceramic tiles, acoustical and gypsum board ceiling repairs, metal framing with gypsum board walls, new ADA restrooms, plumbing, partial HVAC system, general lighting, library operational systems; low voltage wiring and networks, including all incidental and related work as required by the General Requirements, Specifications, and Drawings in the Invitation for Bids (IFB) available upon request. RFP134341 Home Energy Reports RFP134341 - The City of Palo Alto Utilities Department (CPAU) desires to contract with a company that offers a turnkey service in providing a visually compelling, dynamically generated Home and Small Business Utility Usage Reports for each residential and small commercial customer. The Company providing this service shall employ expertise in behavioral science, direct marketing, data mining and dynamic reporting to implement the program. The reports shall be composed of carefully crafted modules that recommend particular savings measures based on usage patterns. These measures will be dynamically selected and individualized for each report, season of the year and customer usage type. The modules will be designed to work together to drive energy and water resource efficiency gains. The reports shall be printed and mailed to CPAU residential and small commercial customers by the Company or its subcontractor(s) on a regular schedule, as frequently as once per month, or on a billing period schedule to be determined in consultation with CPAU. The reports shall also be available for customer review in an on-line format. This information will be customized to each individual residential customer and compare the customer’s energy and water usage with a demographically similar group of Palo Alto residents occupying similar housing stock (age, size). Customized reports will be developed for small business customers with similar facilities, operations and hours of operations. | RFQ134312 RegionalWater Quality Control Plant (RWQCP) Digital Radio Hardware Schedule RFQ134312 - The City of Palo Alto, Regional Water Quality Control Plant (RWQCP), is seeking quotes on radio equipment. The RWQCP is replacing its complete analog Motorola radio system and legacy pager system with a new digital Motorola radio system. The scope of work involves supplying and configuring approximately 26 XPR6500 display radios, 27 XPR6300 nondisplay radios, and 1 XPR4300 desktop radio with various combinations of remote microphone and batteries. Hardware includes a repeater, duplexer, antenna, cables, desktop radio text messaging hardware, and a digital radio for PAPD communications. The radio system shall be complete including software, configuration, set-up, FCC licensing, and field installation.
Approximately 44 Motorola HT-1000 existing radios are offered for as-is trade-in along with 5 multiple charger units. Trade-in equipment will be available three months after successful field use of the new radio system by Palo Alto employees.
