Description: Outpatient Mental Health Program provides adults and older adults with individual counseling, group and family therapy, case management, and psychiatric medication. Domestic Violence Prevention and Treatment Program provides domestic violence victims a 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, counseling (individual, group, and family), parent education, independent living skills training, social service advocacy and referrals.
Asian Women’s Home is an Asian domestic violence shelter-based program. Stay is short term, one or two months depending on availability and situation. Domestic violence training and presentations available.
Cambodian Social Adjustment provides counseling, cultural assimilation classes and case management for Cambodian newcomers who are experiencing post-war trauma, cultural conflict, and survival difficulties.
Drinking Driver Program provides education and intervention to first and repeat offenders on issues such as alcohol and other substance abuse.
Advocacy Services provides advocacy for equality and affirmative action in education, health care, employment, law enforcement, immigration, media, government appointments, and electoral empowerment. Seniors Program provides Asians age 59 and older with skills and resources to maintain independence and well-being by offering counseling, ESL and citizenship classes, social and recreational activities, nutritional lunches, field trips, immigration services, translation/interpretation, and a multi-language library. Project Bridges provides families with multicultural and multiethnic educational and recreational activities. Project ACE (Academic Career Enhancement) provides at-risk Asian youth ages 16-21 with services to develop skills that assist them in securing employment. Project JET (Job Enhancement Training) provides general education, job skills training, and placement to at-risk gang and immigrant youth, ages 16 to 21, who have not completed high school. Project PLUS (Peer Leadership Uniting Students) provides gang prevention and intervention services to Asian youth and their families.
