Description: Helps vocationally disabled persons with physical (including alcoholism and drug dependence) and mental impairments enter or return to work and live more independently. Provides diagnostic and testing services, personal/vocational counseling, job training and placement, transportation allowances, tools, equipment, supplies and licenses necessary for employment. Services are provided according to individual written rehabilitation plan. Offers services to employers including consultation on access laws, standards, and tax incentives. Blind Services serves clients who are age 18+ and legally blind. Offers counseling, mobility and daily living skills training, adaptive techniques, transportation training.
