Description: 
This parent-led licensed adoption agency performs home studies for adults who wish to adopt children from foreign countries. Offers pre-adopt sessions for persons wishing to pursue international adoption, active assistance in locating children to adopt, post-placement guidance and support and court report assistance with finalization of adoption. Holds open house meetings to inform community about intercountry adoption. Open to both single and married persons, married couples must have been married one year to apply. Provides continuing support and education on adoption and multiethnic/multicultural family issues after the adoption is complete. Other requirements are: must be at least 25 years of age and a U.S. citizen; if a couple, one must be a citizen.
