Description: 
Family resource center for children with health, educational, developmental, emotional, and school problems: parent training, peer counseling, library, mentor visiting parents, workshops, assistive technology information, and information/referral services. Provides information, education and training for parents and professionals, support, infant gift bonding program, information and referral to community resources and case management or service coordination assistance. PHP provides services to over 40 specialty programs that offer monthly support and education sessions for specific disabilities, concerns language/culture or geographic locations. All programs are provided to professionals and families of children with a need of specialized series including health, education, legal, social, and emotional. The iTech Center helps find information on useful assistive technologies. Also provides technical assistance on starting, maintaining and running a parent directed family resource center. Provides emotional and practical support services for seriously ill children and their families. Assistance or programs: Roadmap For Parenting A Child With Special Needs, LINCS, Parents Of Down Syndrome, Sickle Cell Community Network, Grandparents Raising Children, Ketogenic Network, Attention Deficit Disorder, Learning Disability Network, Autistic Network, Intensive Care Nursery Parents, Parents Of Near Drowning, Seizure and Related Concerns, Seriously Emotionally Disturbed (SED) Network, Feingold Program For Behavior And Attention Problems, Tuberous Sclerosis, Cleft-Lip/Palate, Early Intervention Support, Siblings Support, Medium Rare Support For Rare Disorders, Cerebral Palsy Support Network, Annual Symposium on Special Kids.
