Population Served: Developmentally disabled adults
Description: Offers two independent living centers, comprehensive family services, supported living services and independent-living skills training in individual's private residence. Independent Living Centers curriculum includes social skills, community living leisure skills, health, first aid, sexuality, housekeeping, nutrition, menu planning and money management. Family Services/Parenting Skills provides instruction in prenatal care, children's health and safety, children's developmental and play skills, nurturing and discipline. Offers a mothers' support group. Supported Living Services offers services tailored to the specific needs of the individual. Services include live-in assistance, instruction and support necessary to develop domestic skills, or recruitment of a peer to attend special events. Support is tailored to individual need, regardless of severity of disability.
