Description: 
Family & Children Services is a non-profit health and human services agency providinging counseling, education, prevention and intervention programs to individuals, couples and families throughout San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. In addition to services provided at the agency's service centers, the multicultural staff is on school campuses, at childcare facilities, in homeless provider centers, at health clinics, in jails, and corporate offices. Family & Children Services brings nearly 60 years of experience in providing a wide array of health and human services in the following high need area: Abuse prevention services to the deaf and hard of hearing populations, counseling, drug and alcohol intervention and treatment, early childhood education services, employee assistance programs, family self-sufficiency programs, HIV/AIDS services, adult anger management, independent living skills for foster youth, school based services, specialized services for gay and lesbian populations and violence prevention, intervention and treatment, court-mandated parenting and offender classes and groups.
