Description: Provides short term crisis intervention services to protect adults age 18 and over from neglect, abuse or exploitation. Services are designed to prevent or remedy dangers threatening those adults unable to protect their own interests. Services include investigation, assessment, counseling and referrals to community agencies. Persons are eligible without regard to income, and acceptance of the services is voluntary.
