The City of Palo Alto has a commitment to offering a wide array of programs and services for teens. Teenage years are often a very stressful time for youth so it is important to make available mentors, activities and places to go. We are so happy to be able to offer these resources for teens in this community.
Teens can come to The Drop to play pool, ping pong, fuse ball, listen to music, or play X-box. Teens will also have the opportunity to participate in organized games and other activities such as cooking projects dance performances, art projects and special "Drop" events. The teen center is a wonderful place to do homework, hang out with friends and meet new ones as well! The Drop offers monthly field trips where Teens have the opportunity to take short field trips to local attractions. They will engage in new activities and hopefully, find new interests in a safe supervised environment. Membership is free, visit The Drop and register today. “Our Vision is that youth in Palo Alto will have safe, healthy, positive experiences that support them in the development of behaviors, skills, attitudes and values necessary to realize their full potential”
